- frozen shrimps [250gr]
- red hot pepper
- black pepper
- salt
- soy sauce
- lime juice
- onion
- peanut oil (any oil, except olive oil, can do. Olive oil is/may taste very strong, too strong, so it's just easier if you do not use it, otherwise your shrimps will taste like olive oil).
- A package of spinach pasta (that's why it's green!). I used a package of 250grams of spaghetti and it's enough for 4 people's (small portions, you're supposed to eat something else other than pasta). If you want to make more pasta, then also double the shrimps!
- Not really an 'ingredient', still better if you get it: A large pan, even better if it's a wok
- First step is the marinade. So put all of your shrimps in a bowl and mix with some soy sauce (3/4 spoons), some lime juice (approx. a spoon), onion (I used some onion sauce I own: you can chop some onion and put it in the marinade. Remind to take them off before cooking the shrimps!). Add the spices, as much/many as you want. This really depends on your tastes. I advice not to put too much pepper as shrimp's taste isn't strong and it may just disappear.
Stir it with a spoon so the marinade reaches every little shrimp and let it rest for at least twenty minutes. The more, the better. Stir from time to time. - In the meanwhile, cook the pasta. Put some water in a cooking pan, add salt (you should taste the water and the taste should be salty).
When the water is boiling, put the pasta in the pan and let it cook for a while. Taste the pasta in order to understand if the consistence is good for you: I know there are "cooking minutes" printed on the package, however you better never believe that. The best way to know if the pasta is good for you is to grab one of your spaghetti and bite it :)
When the pasta is okay, dry the water and keep following these instructions. - Take the shrimps apart, squeeze them a bit and separate shrimps from marinade. Keep the marinade, put it in a recipient and mix very well with a bit of flour (really not too much, let's say half spoon). Add some water if your marinade isn't watery enough. This will become your sauce.
- Put some oil in the pan [better if you're using a wok] and wait until it's hot. Add the shrimps and cook them for a minute or two, stir-fry style. Keep stirring.
- Add the marinade and keep stirring. Since you added some flour, the watery marinade will soon turn into thick sauce. Great.
- The triumph: add the pasta and mix altogether, for a minute. If you like it, add some more black pepper on top.
- Do not add the flour all at once in the marinade. Add bit by bit and keep mixing, otherwise you'll get blobs! Nasty flour blobs!
- If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of water and keep mixing. Do not add too much water at once, otherwise it will never blend with the sauce
- Remember that soy sauce is salty, so do not add more salt to the marinade :)
- I got a feature on "DivaMania by FemonFutura"'s website HERE \o/
- Due to the fact I am working hard on a project and am busy at the office everyday, I will be available for shooting during weekends only. Since I will be available one or two days per week, if you don't hurry I'll probably be booked already when you ask. So contact me in advance :).
I also am thinking about not shooting until 2010, however it highly depends on the project. Don't be shy, just ask. I am starting to schedule bookings for January already :) - I have some new artist pictures (ie, drawings by various artists) to be posted on the galleries. Will write an entry about that soon
- Fresh website redesign! Keep reading :)
formspring, "vote for me" and various
Published on: 2010-02-06T21:06:55Z
First: I jumped on the formspring bandwagon, so if you have any question, ask it here. You can do it anonymously if you don't have an account and -unless your question is actually very very sad- I will answer.Went to the eye specialist yesterday and I am proud [and very glad] to say I have been diagnosed... "eagle-eyed girl 2010". I see everything, even through you [ahr ahr ahr]. Quite amazed, as I thought that average 12 hours per day [almost] each day during the past 15 years did some damage. This kinda makes my new glasses-fetish fall to pieces. Unless I am going to buy glasses with fake lens [most probably, don't tell anyone tho!].
Also, one more request: Please, VOTE FOR ME in the HowCool Contest!!! Remember you can vote up to 3 times a day: midnight-8am, 8am-4pm, 4pm-midnight. (California time zone). I do not usually ask to be voted, however this is a great exception [note: you need to register in order to vote. Register, find me, click on the stars and vote for me!! Pretty please :)? Thanks :D]
Meeting Oddo
Published on: 2010-02-03T19:53:43Z
While in Venice, I met the awesome Oddo, who introduced me a few people/places regarding his next project in which I'm involved [I am totally excited about it, going to work with some of my favourite photogs/models! Yay!]. Couldn't agree more on some things he said.
We spent the morning visiting places, talking about his project and we shared ideas and concepts. The most terrible part must have been going on the gondola in order to get to the other side "of the water". While Oddo [and Bernie, his dog] felt comfortable swinging on the gondola, I was secretly hoping not to fall into the cold water. I managed not to and kept the balance, in case you're wondering. Not-going-to-do-it-again-unless-I'm-sitting-somewhere.
I also met Oddo's adorable wife and visited Teatrio headquarters [or something like that ;)].
Before leaving, I asked my boyfriend to take a picture of us both. From left to right, Oddo and Delilah (me! It's meee!)
After couple of hours walking, we headed to the train station and left Venice, got back to the apartment we were staying in for the weekend, hunted for a restaurant, got our pizzas and all went well. Let's not mention that the pizzeria* right behind our house was open and we went exploring the opposite side of the city and the first one we found was about after couple of kms walk.. How typical :)

new photo projects and artsy portrait
Published on: 2010-01-24T20:54:01Z
I am quite excited. Dead tired as if I had to carry a rhino all around, still there are pretty things happening. I am being involved in such a great project, and I'm jumping in as the very last one - I'll be happy if they can find a small place for me to fit! :). I'll be shooting with one of my favourite photographers and one of my favourite models, in one of the best scenarios ever. Being this shooting a 'private' project afaik, I am not allowed to give any detail until I am being told I can. Sorry :x
I am also planning a shoot with yet another model (me likes!) and I am planning little things here and there. Right during the wrong period in which I am so overwhelmed with work and busy you can't even imagine. Ahah. I wonder whether I will make all of this. If there was any competition about having too little time and too many things to do, I'd win it for sure.
Will I make it? I hope so :)
This awesome portrait of me has been made by the great eam - Eric Magnuson. Thank you Eric!! :D
Recipe! Green pasta with Shrimps!
Published on: 2010-01-21T22:55:33Z
My brother is very fond of shrimps. So he kept bugging me about the fact we had some shrimps in the refrigerator until I decided to cook something special for him. Today's recipe is 'green pasta with shrimps'.
How to:
Done. It was easy, wasn't it?
Tips:
Retro Games
Published on: 2010-01-14T20:40:19Z
I have always drawn a not-so-thin line between computer geeks and gamer geeks. Of course, there are cases in which the two merge (coding games?). I am a computer geek. Still, I sometimes play games too.
My favourite are platform games and arcades. I am much in love with retro games, such as 'New Zealand's Story' or 'Bubble Bobble' or 'Tetris' (and my mother was the best player of PacMan ever!). Super Mario, in all of its flavours, is of course a must. I played Kirby, Yoshi's Island, Parodius, Bomberman, Monkey Island, Donkey Kong.. too many to list. My brother and I (yes, I've got a bro :D) played lots and lots of games. We have been lucky; we got a secondhand Nintendo Console when we were kids. We owned a large number of consoles: Nintendo (NES), Super Nintendo (SNES), Sega Saturn, Gameboy (vintage), Gameboy Color, GameCube, Playstation, Playstation2 and a couple of all-in-one pre-programmed 101-games-included cheap consoles. And I am probably forgetting something. Oh, and I can rock your socks off when playing Killer Instinct (of course, my character was often Black Orchid, the Aikido goddess :)). As if I was able to perform a single aikido move.

See what I got there? :3
I am not a fan of shooters; most of those games bore me. Instead, I appreciate very much a few games that apparently make large use of physics. I am dying to try LittleBigPlanet (PS3). I've seen a video on youtube and it features the most awesome physics engine ever. Sadly [or shall I say luckily?] I do not own any of the very latest consoles. No xbox, nor PS3, not even WII. If I had to get one, I'd probably go for the third. Why? First, because at first glance, it has the best games (and/or the ones that fit my tastes better). Second, because the Wiimote is the cheapest piece of technology (=cheapest oscilloscope) I can get for my scary experiments :3
What's your favourite game? Your best memories? Your first console, if you ever had one? Do you still own any? Which one? I am so curious to hear from you!
Oh and pretty please, vote for Barbie Computer Engineer. Let's stop this nurses-and-all-that-is plague. Go geeks!
The second question and funny anecdote
Published on: 2010-01-09T19:28:56Z
So here's the answer to the second question by bobbysroom (first one was about math and computers, second one about..)
"I would ask you what you think about the use of Photoshop in your modeling carer but some how I think that is something best left to those people that have a personal opinion, at least that is what I would want to know. Rather than your professional opinion, not that it is any less important, it is just more interesting to know how a model feels about the raw image in comparison to what happens when image goes to print."
I've discussed this topic a thousand times, mostly on photography forums or with photographers. It's very difficult to keep short on this, because I know there are so many things to say and so many different points of view. This is mine :)
There are two different types of photography, the one that wants to "catch the moment" and the one that wants "to do something more" with the picture. Of course both are good, it's up to each person to choose when and if to use one or the another.
I like photoshop and all of those tools, if you ask me. I see gfx programs as a big resource. It's my chance to entering a fantasy world, to fly, to do anything that would not be possible in reality. So, I welcome photoshop to enrich images. There are moments in which you can't really use it (ie: for a model book) so it's up to the image creators not to exceed.
I like to consider myself an 'artist' more than a 'mannequin'. I like to create. I prefer my images to have something 'different'. More than photoshop, I work a lot on the styling part of the shoot. I have little means and big ideas. I do what I can :)
In short, I value a lot shoots with big styling efforts, that in the end will require little to none retouch. And I welcome photoshop, it will will bring a little pretty unicorn in my pictures. Why not :) As long as my face stays the same in pictures and my traits are not altered, all is well :)

[I am the master of weird angles. Ahr Ahr Ahr.]
I published this picture on facebook, while it was meant to stay private forever, and surprisingly people liked it o.O" omg.
Weird guy.
NYE and madcat
Published on: 2010-01-04T21:09:45Z
So the new year has come! It brought me a fistful of resolutions and couple of new nail polishes *g*. They come from Kiko's "Out of this world" collection, pure awesomeness. Went for (glittery) dark purple and pink. Ohh, lush!It also snew, so everything looks white. White and icy, since the snow almost immediately turned to ice. You can ask my cat:

(yes, I own better pics of him, this one was so funny!)
I also went mad shopping on Saturday and I bought some Mary Poppin's lookalike shoes. Will post pictures on twitter probably (follow me! @_@), a picture of my cat in the snow is enough for this journal :3
I am very, very, very busy these days. Reason is, I am working a lot and trying to build myself a better future. Can't say much, I don't wanna jinx it. Just root for me if you care, such choices aren't always easy and some support is appreciated! :)
Will post something new soon. I promise. In the meanwhile, I wonder what are your NY resolutions? What would you like to do in 2010? Care to tell me :)?
Hope you spent a great New Year's Eve. Happy 2010!
Happy Holidays!
Published on: 2009-12-26T22:11:00Z
I hope you spent a wonderful Christmas (well, those of you who celebrate it). Also, 2010 is quickly approaching and it's the good chance to change something in our lives. The beginning of a new year is always full of expectations, hopes, we all root for something to happen. I find it fascinating.
I wish you the best; may 2010 bring you happiness, joy, health and love. I wish all of your dreams to come true [or well, at least some ;)]; so never, never stop dreaming. Dreaming is what makes us go on. This is what helps us go on and get better and better.
Anyway, this was just a little post to wish you the best. Happy Holidays, have fun!
[Note: In case you're wondering, the blue thing on my eye is not eyeshadow. It's blue light, coming from the blue fairylights of this awesome glittery thing! If you look closer you can see them!]
[Note2: I'm keeping the 'second question, second answer' post for next days. Bear with me! :)]
The first question! Maths!
Published on: 2009-12-20T18:07:00Z
Anyway.
I got couple of interesting questions, as comments to my previous entries. I thought it would have been cool to share them. If you have any question, just comment my entries (wherever you can) or send questions and comments via email. Thank you bobbysroom for inspiring me this post :)
Of course I had to decorate this entry with a picture. Since none I own seems to be on topic and I am too lazy to shoot one on purpose, let's heavily go off topic anyway and post a backstage. This is by EVH (check his new website!) and I was getting ready for the shoot :)

"What is it about math that you find so interesting? And since you are a computer savvy person, what kind of things do you do with your computer? I mean do you like to write software or is there any particular program(s) that you could find yourself working with for hours at a time."
I will just split this question into two different questions; the one about maths, and the one about computers.
There's a little bit of history to hear, first. Uh-oh, I knew you were really hoping for me not to say this. Don't worry, I'll try to keep the "story of my life" short.
In my teens I did not like math. Just like gazillions of other people anyway. I believe that math is not 'difficult'; it's just like a puzzle. One has to see the piece well and understand what the right position is, in order to match it with the others and create the whole picture. In 9/10 of the cases, people do not like maths because their teachers haven't been 'good enough' in teaching it. Sad to say, however truly true. I think there are so many unaware math lovers around ;)
During university, I have been kinda forced studying maths, so I gave it a second chance. All of my efforts went into learning how 'advanced basics' worked and little by little learnt the whole thing, mostly by myself. At the point that I had fun doing algebra for relaxing and I liked how math proofs worked. Some are really funny. They're wicked. Some are black magic. The number is there, then you for some reason assume it's like this, and that thing sounds like the other one, and since it sounds like the other one we can say the result is: a pear. Oh God. It really is like that. I kid you not! And this is what I like the most: you can play with maths. Nobody ever told me that :3
Of course, you lose the ability once you stop doing so. It requires constant practice, just like sport. You get better at it the more you do it, and tend to forget how to calculate a "x" after a while you do not. And of course I'm not that good at maths anymore, I never practice these days. I am still quite good, however not as good as I used to be :)
We're at the point in which I should introduce computers. Well, maths become unbelievable when you apply them to programming. This means that a "simple" math formula can turn into a fantastic shape. Let's talk about Game Programming. Computer graphics. 3D. Or even when you resize your photos: it's all about maths, and what you do is to 'interpolate'. Would you ever imagine you're just fitting those polynomial curves between the points you specify? Neat.
So I used a lot maths when coding, in a special way when putting my dirty little hands into gamecode and several scenarios. I also had to solve academic math problems, which I did not like, still one of my first ASM progs was about implementing Fibonacci :D (I had been promised an icecream, so I did it quite fast. And got the icecream. I am easily pleased :D. I will code for icecreams!).
Any "particular program(s) I could find myself working with for hours at a time"..? Not really, at the right moment. It depends. When I get some web design/developing commissions, then I use a lot several programs. Also, when I get illustration commissions or photographic work (as I retouch a lot of other people's photos :D) then yeah, I use those gfx/retouch programs. I don't have any 'favourite' at the moment.
That's it, this is the answer to the first question. I tried to keep it short. Next time, next question ;)

Prison walls break, Old Ones awake!
["The Carol of the Old Ones" - HPLHS]
Some time ago, I posted on my twitter account the following picture:
It's a webcam shot (yes, low quality, apparently the built-in webcam of my laptop features a shiny 0.3mp only webcam - boo!) in which I proudly show my über-cute Cthulhu plushie to the world. I bet you all Lovecraftians out there know what Cthulhu is (if you do not, you're highly advised to read 'The Call of Cthulhu' by H.P. Lovecraft). So while we're at it I'd like to spend a few words about Cthulhu itself and Lovecraft, of course.
I am a big Lovecraft fan. He always represented "The Other World". It's too wide and complex to be explained in such a little journal post, and the only way to get what I mean is to sit down and read Lovecraft novels. He has been the Horror writer. Actually he is the one and only. He did something totally unique and created a whole universe with his writings.. and, of course, filled our lives with nightmares. Ugly, churning, lurking, sea-stinking, scratching and crawling 'things' that keep obsessing us all. Who cares, we're happy with it, aren't we? :)
So. We're getting closer and closer to Christmas, and I wanted to make everyone a little present. Music for the Old Ones! There are three artists I'd like to introduce you, in random order, so you can add a bit of fright to your mp3 players.
The first is Seizon Orchestra (Renato Zampieri) who composed a whole suite dedicated to Lovecraftian Horror, called "The Dark Movements". You can download this awesome piece of art from the official myspace page.
"Taking inspiration from the best contemporary Score composers and Musicians - such like Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Danny Elfman or Mike Oldfield - Seizon (aka Renato Zampieri, 28 years old, self-educated guitarist from Italy) have built up a fresh new musical project, suitable to almost any kind of listener. Beware, though: this is not classical music. This is ambient music played with classical instruments!"
I also recently discovered "A scary Solstice" and "An even scarier Solstice" CDs (commercial; there are a few free samples available and couple of freebies) by HPLHS.
"Three years ago the HPLHS recorded A Very Scary Solstice - a delightful yet hideous combining of over-commercialized holiday tunes and the unspeakable horrors of the Cthulhu Mythos."
Thanks to Brian S., who pointed me to them right yesterday on facebook. I am addicted already and can't stop singing Carols. This is wicked. You will appreciate this a lot!
Last but not least, let's also keep an eye on Kozai Resonance and look forward "Black Seas of Infinity - volume 1": A tribute to Howard Phillips Lovecraft (2010). We'll be waiting in anticipation :)
Also, here's a [not complete, still interesting enough :) ] list about "Lovecraftian Music". Yay for brilliant artists!
How many cultists around you? How many of you know and like Lovecraft? Anything you would like to add about the music topic, bands you know, links you could give me about music revolving around Lovecraft Mythos? There I am. I'll be happy to hear, and listen to, your advices :D
A picture that will save the day
Published on: 2009-12-05T22:12:22Z
There are days in which one simply can't take a picture. Sometimes, you're just not happy with the results, you feel that the 'something special' you wanted to portray hasn't been caught. You have this clear idea of what you want and can't make it. You're of course able to get pretty pictures, still you're trying to chase after the one. It's one of those evenings in which I would've liked to take a picture and am not happy with the ones I get. I'll give it a try sometime soon - in the meanwhile, here's a lovely picture by Cunene that will save the day.
Photography, Hat and Jewelry by Cunene. She (hand)crafts those little precious things. Her hats are unbelievably perfect. Her jewels are unique. And speaking of uniqueness, the corset I'm wearing was a lovely 20" made by MadEleine of OrologiSilenziosi (featuring steel bones, busk, comfort panel and all that is). Gears and real peacock feathers adorned a corset that was perfect for tightlacing - the most comfortable corset I wore, ever. When you can breath in a corset and it's fully closed, well.. you know what I mean. Usually when corsets are so tight, you can't properly breath nor move. You love the constriction, the feeling, still..
MadEleine's corsets let you move like a woman does - give you the best shape ever and they're comfortable. More than you can imagine. Of course, there is a full-body picture of this outfit in my website's galleries, if you want to see how the whole thing looks like :)
I have been lucky working with these two girls. Talented and passionate about what they do. Have a look at their websites and treat yourself for Christmas :)
USB Love <3
Published on: 2009-12-02T17:51:36Z

Of course I got other USB ports than this one, still they're permanently connected to other tools (scanner, printer, tablet, etc).. in short, I really have some good excuse to get this :)
When a cake is not enough, why not getting Cake Royale USB Drivers!? They look delicious (they're not edible; the bright side is that they will last forever!) and come in many flavours. Yummy :3
USB Christmas (heating) Gloves: I know you really want these as well. Don't deny that. One just needs those to feel warm during the winter (and these ones would work as well: rabbits!). They're absolutely useful and prevent your hands feeling dead cold. I don't know about you, my hands keep feeling like zombie's. I miss the green factor, then it's really like that and I could slowly walk around yelling BRAAAINS and unexpectedly touching everyone's neck with my dead cold hands.
USB Robot Owl: originally imported from Japan, this Robot Owl is the cuteness. And you can even choose from three owlish moods (Active, Mellow, or Sleeping) just by pressing the back button! I currently have a (non-USB) pig-on-a-stick that stares at me all of the time. A Robot Owl could become its best friend.
Of course there are timeless faves, such as Animal-shaped USB keys. What about USB jewellery instead? I am much into this Jewel Bee Necklace USB Flash Drive (into the depths of this website you can also find an exceptional Bone and a Handbag necklace - 4gb each! <3)
Last but not least, this pretty USB Big Panda Speaker caught my heart. Panda! :)
What about you? What USB tools do you own, would like to own, or just like? Let me know!
ps: I lied. The Wireless Rocked Launcher proves to actually be very useful, defending your preciousss computer from strangers for example. Would be cool to connect it to a webcam and test some facial recognition and tracking software. If it goes well and the sofware is good enough, no one will be allowed to get too close to your computer. If not, prepare to war, since you won't be allowed to touch your own computer as well! Eheh :D
Once upon a time..
Published on: 2009-11-28T14:23:25Z
Honestly, I had no idea on what to write first. I assume I should just let the ideas flow. I either have too many ideas all at once or the writer's block :) so an introductory post is needed.
I know it won't be easy for me. I am not a blogger and I often wondered how some people can find new articles to write for their journal or stories to tell to their followers. I do not know what will happen, so bear with me and of course send me advices along the way. I will appreciate them a lot.
(This picture is a coop between me and Cunene! The nifty little crown I wear is handmade with love by her so make sure you get one for cosplay, clubbing or just showing off !) - Bigger version of this picture on my gallery
My website has become a pretty showcase of (very selected) work, however the lack of "focus" on my "personality" more than my pics made me sad. Most people probably do not even visit the profile page in order to discover who I am and what I like, and directly jump to the photo galleries. It also is my fault; unlike most people, I don't like to attend mundane events and my style choice is of course not leading to the maximum fame. I am a fan of privacy and never kept a blog. I am not into gossip, not throwing random opinions to everything happens. I am, in short, being not interesting as I am mostly neutral :)
Of course I have opinions, I like and dislike this or that. I have hobbies (and I am going to talk about them in the future) and, most important, I have a personality. I am not perfect, yet I'm not that bad afterall :)
Help me: what would you like to see here? Do you have any question for me? Anything you would like to see? What about candids and random pictures? Or should I keep the pretty ones only, here? I am waiting for your opinions :)
[note: I will of course post about modelling here, including the pretty pictures and all that is. I am going to ADD topics, not to Delete or Change the existing ones :)].
[little bonus: I posted another picture (click here to view), by Cunene featuring OrologiSilenziosi's outfit, on TwitPic :3 (which is linked to my Twitter account of course)]
Send me feedback!
Published on: 2009-11-21T20:30:42Z
I have always kept this journal safe from any other topic that did not involve modelling. Everything here is about me, my artistic work, my photographs.Even if it's of course cool to have pretty pictures posted, I also have other interests, hobbies, things I like or just anything that I may want to write about.. here. Until now, I did not take the idea into account as I dedicated this place to pics and 'official sixthessence.com' news only. As I've just said, until now.
(Pictures by Gaspare. This is a real picture of the (print!) photographs he shot of me :) - You've never seen these before! )
I would like to give it a try and expand the topics a bit. I would post more often and the topics would be really varied. I am still unsure about how the whole thing could turn out. So dearest ones, what's your opinion? I'd like to hear from you. Why do you read my journal? Do you think it would be cool to expand it a bit, or just like the plain picture+shoot posts?
I'll read and care about any advice and impression. So please, let me know what you think!
Note: This entry is cross posted on my official journal page and some social networks, including livejournal, myspace, facebook and Twitter (alerts only). You can reply me by commenting (wherever you want :)) or sending me an email.
Thank you!
Note #2: I am not willing to write about my private life. I am willing to expand the topics and write about things I like: technology-wise, makeup, recipes, literature, clothing, whatever may pop into my mind. No drama, no gossip. I am a huge fan of privacy and would like to keep things like that. You can of course know me better by reading about things I like - not by reading about my daily happenings, nor my deep feelings. These are things to be kept in real life, not in a public journal on the internet. :)
A bunch of little updates and YouTube
Published on: 2009-11-01T16:39:44Z
Have you had a wicked Halloween? I hope so!I am busy as hell. There are many little news, good point for making a list:
You won't probably notice as the design stayed pretty the same, however I was bored of my old website's structure and now it's completely redesigned. Welcome sixthessence.com as valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional, CSS flavoured, nifty look. Please get back to me if you notice any bug and I'll fix it pronto!
I know there's a bug with IE 5.5 not displaying columns properly. Will look into it later if necessary; apparently nobody's using that browser/version anymore. The new redesign is fully compatible with the latest browsers (CSS enabled of course!), as I tested it.
Last but not least: while wandering on YouTube, I found this 'tribute' video. Thank you LatexBabe1! I am not really happy the pictures have been cropped in order to cut off the watermarks [why :(? Cropping watermarks is such a band thing to do :(] however I appreciate the video, I think it has been a cute thing to do. I am touched by someone making a video about my pictures. It's something extremely sweet to me :)
Here I share:
I also made a new account on YouTube. Sadly, someone 'stole' my usual nickname (sixthessence) so I had to make an account under a different name. So mind that the 'sixthessence' YouTube user IS NOT ME. Instead, you can find me at http://www.youtube.com/user/DelilahSixthessence. I have nothing to post yet, however I hopefully will soon :).

The community is, in fact, mostly about body mods (especially focusing on tattoos, as I noticed *love*) and will open to 'professionals', such as Alternative Models, Piercing/Tattoo Studios, Body Painting, Body Jewellery Designers, Body Art Photographers, Tattoo Flash Designers and Adornment Studios.. :D
Who knows what's behind the corner! It's worth a visit so please do :)
New sexy picture by EVH: Fairy!
Published on: 2009-10-05T20:29:31Z
I met EVH for the first time a lot of years ago. The funny anecdote about our relationship is that we kept pestering each other on some photography forum (so when he left for some reason, I felt I had nothing to do all day long, ahah!). I am very moderated and quiet on the web and in my profiles, however I am very spicy and determined in real life. I am very passionate about things, sometimes moody, people like to describe me as an anime character. I never write about 'important' subjects just because I am not being asked about, not because I have no opinions. Plus I don't like gossip, which often leads to backstabbing. I am a big-hearted girl who would just love to create beautiful images and play being a queen/freak/fetishgirl/pirate without all of the drama that often (and sadly) surrounds the scene.
This picture is part of (several) sets EVH and I shot quite recently.. These sets were mostly meant to be a test shoot, just for the sake of it. The first time [after so many years and so many never-happened-for-some-reason-meetings] in which we actually met and saw each other. We had no idea on what to do. We went through his huge wardrobe, I did my makeup and we had lots of fun.
When I received this picture, today, I went in awe. Totally unexpected, as he sent me a previous one a few days before (I twittered it! See it here: http://twitpic.com/jufrj <- Space Delilah!!).
I am waiting for the next shoot with excitement, as another model should be involved. I won't make names because I don't want to jinx it. I love her so I really can't wait and it's just too bad I am unable to plan any travel right now.
Still, I have to admit shooting with Emanuel has been a fantastic experience :D - so I hope you'll like this picture. I really do :)
Speaking of shooting: check my website if you want to shoot with me.

This is another awesome dress we shot. Created by MadEleine's lovely hands, this green damask is like a dream. Why settle for less, when you can have the best?
Also, Fioz is organising a cool party at Alcatraz, Milano, October the 17th. I may be there. Who else will come? (facebook event page)

Birthday :)
Published on: 2009-08-26T10:11:34Z
So, yesterday it has been my birthday. Thank you everyone for the nice wishes (also thank you My day has been quite calm. I went to the beach all day long (still hiding in the shadows as it's way more effective than sunscreen 30) and nothing more. Oh, yes, I had an icecream, too. I am not much of a party girl as you may guess :D - and I am not ashamed of it. The biggest party I've had for my birthday involved 3 people and icecream, and that was when I was a child, ahah! When my birthday was, my little friends were on holidays with their families - no wonder I did not have more than a few friends at once. Everyone was away enjoying beach and sun, and sand castles more probably :). No harm done, I've always made big difference between school mates and friends :P
edit: The wifi sucks quite a lot today :\ I better postpone what I should do to this weekend!
Holidays and free wifi! Yay for free wifi! \o/
Published on: 2009-08-23T15:32:14Z
I am having some holidays, yay! Real ones. Luckyly, I found a free wifi spot so unless I'm out visiting places or having a bath in the sea, I have around one hour connection I can use to download my email and stuff (I am unsure on how long my laptop batteries last, I guess one hour - and a half is a good estimation). I will anyway postpone replies and will do that when I'm home, both because of the lack of time here and also because I am supposed being on holidays and I really want to free my mind. Once I'm back home, I want to catch up with work and I'll be as busy as hell. I managed to sunburn myself yesterday, as a friend came over visiting and we went to play in water. I really didn't realize it was so long I was there so at the end of the day my face and shoulders were all red ._. thankfully the sunlotion helped a lot and today I'm dirty white again. I'm not a big fan of tan :)
Oh, and just for the record, I am staring at the sea while typing this. Ahr Ahr Ahr.
a few updates
Published on: 2009-08-16T19:53:27Z
I am terribly late - never had enough time to sit down and write this entry.I am back in Udine and will stay for a while. I of course have some projects, however I am in the middle of my holidays (it actually is the very first year after lots of time I can have *real* holidays! Hooray!) so I will speak about projects as soon as they happen.
Before coming back in Udine my bf and I went visiting a Safari Park. Totally cool, as you could drive in the middle of the wild animals with your car! No cages or anything, they were free in the meadows. We even had to stop on the road and wait for a while because a rhino decided to cross the street and got stuck right in the middle because 'it liked it that way' (see picture below). We saw lots of pretty animals and took tons of pictures (too bad you actually sit inside the car and have to take pictures through the car glasses, however they came out quite nifty!). We also saw white lions (!!) and panthers and tigers and buffaloes and giraffes and monkeys and ostriches and zebras and... wow, so many animals. I was all excited and giggly :3

We also visited a reptilium (I totally loved the snakes! I am a huge fan of reptiles, see the above picture) and an aquarium (so many pretty and coloured fishes! Not as big as the one I visited past year, tho still enjoyable :) ). I also familiarized with the nearby farm's gooses:

(yes, I twist my hair in funny hairdos when I'm around :D)
We also attended a show, had a walk in the awesome park and visited the fun park. Yet the best part has been the safari one. I like animals so much, however I don't like to see them in cages. I am probably going to visit a zoo near in the future, tho I hope I won't see sad animals :(.. in the safari park they were absolutely free and humans were in a cage ( = the car) in order to see them. That makes way more sense imho :)
Anyway: in a few days you're going to see a new picture featuring a little pretty voodoo doll.. curious? Just wait :) Oh, and I updated my website and the galleries. I am cutting down the number of the pages yet again as it's too big and nobody cares anyway ;).. will do it once I'm back, as I am planning to go to seaside this week! Can't wait!
Have a nice sunday evening and happy birthday to
Bunnies
Published on: 2009-08-09T22:53:01Z
Went visiting bunnies today. They were soo sweet and I took pictures! I am trying to get one or two for me, as they have to be killed.. well, just because. For food I assume. There really is no reason to kill more than 10 bunnies at once, however they are not mine and no matter how much I begged for them to live. The owners just don't want to keep so many bunnies and waiting for me to take them to the other side of Italy isn't an option (also probably because since they are big and fat they are supposed to become soon tasty nom noms).I wonder whether I will manage to save at least one! I wish! I hope they will give me one as my birthday is getting closer and closer and, for probably the first time in my life ever, I asked for a present ( = the bunny). I have a huge garden at home, I would let it go there all day long and probably build a little bunny house or something. I own a cat and a dog already, one or two bunnies won't destroy the garden :(
In case you are Italian and you like bunnies, please do check this website: www.lacollinadeiconigli.net - adopt a bunny, buy gadgets or donate!
I am leaving on tuesday morning, this means I'll be back home on tuesday evening. Should go to bed now as I'm supposed to go and visit some more animals tomorrow, yay! Visiting a natural park is always exciting.. unless it rains, of course :(
Another picture, because I cannot resist.
Published on: 2009-08-03T07:30:29Z
I could - not - resist. Here's another picture from the Tea Party Day - Set. You can find an extra one in my facebook page and of course more will come. Have I told you already I am uber-excited by these pictures?
The wonderful rose / cameos jewellery are by Cunene. The outfit by OrologiSilenziosi: MadEleine sew all of the pearls and Swarowski's in the train on the way to my home (yes, I lived that close to the pretty sofa all of the time!! :D). Everything is handmade with love and dedication, you can really tell that. Will post a more detailed photo in the future, this one doesn't make justice to the items, however I find it pretty :)
Photography by Cunene, by the way!
Enough for today! Let's save something for next week! Will update my website with more pics once I'm back in Udine! :)
