I am a bit sad since my 'office-mate' (Miss L.) is about to go on maternity leave. So this is her last week at work. I am going to miss her for sure next weeks. However, there always is a bright side: all of us girls of the office are going to have a huge pizza next wednesday to celebrate her special day. Look at this happy face! :D
To wipe sadness away, this weekend (well, on saturday only) I shot another set. This is meant to be for Zivity, however some pictures will be public as well :))
Speaking of prints: they're available, in all sizes. Will post something about them soon, in case you're interested in getting one for your collection AND support my work this way. That would be so cool :)
However, time to go to bed. it took lots of efforts and energy to reply all of my emails (I was terribly behind messages) and everything should be okay now :). Goodnight! :)
New Zivity's Set! Steampunk! :)

I also entered the "Fully Clothed" contest; I joined it very very late, there are a few days to go only and I would never make it, however I joined it anyway. If you vote for me, make sure to comment as well so you will help me with the contest as well :)
Thank you ???
Merry Go Round
Published on: 2012-01-10T21:44:07Z
The following picture is a dream that comes true. Wasabi and I were walking around after shooting our previous gothy set, and noticed a Merry Go Round. I went there and asked the owner whether we could take some pictures, and he has been exceptionally kind and said yes. Will link him later as I do not have any website yet, though he rocks bigtime.
I loved carousels since I was a child, and never sit on a horse. Well, unless it happened when I was too little to remember. The Merry Go Round is one of the things I like the most. I like teapots, victorian frames, eyepatches, unicorns, cats and so many things... and the Merry Go Round is a favourite of mine. So this has been my first time on such a wonderful thing, and I've been lucky I have been allowed to shoot it.
2012: First post of the year!
Published on: 2012-01-04T17:32:47Z
Holidays are about to end and I had a great time in Milano. I spent some wonderful days over there, met people, had some nice walk and visited The Milan Monumental Cemetery - I couldn't manage to see it all and was a bit in a rush so I'll be there again next time. Very inspirational, decadent, beautiful. The older areas look the best, not very happy about the most recent tombs but still. Every statue is a work of art and it really is an open-air museum, as the website says. I was in awe. So many years in Milan and I never visited it before. Unbelievable.
Other places to visit in Milano: other than the Duomo square, which is wellknown (however they finally took the scaffold off the main facade so you can see the Duomo, and there are illuminated stained glasses at night!) there is a new place I discovered this time and you can make sure I'll pay several visits there. The place, right behind the Rinascente mall, is called 'CioccolatItaliani' and they offer a wide selection of chocolate, ice creams, cakes, coffee.. Oh my oh my. I had a bit of it all: chocolate and ice cream. So much to taste! I like that there are chocolate fountains inside (3 of them: java, dark chocolate and white) and when you ask for an ice cream, they put some chocolate (you get to chose the taste) inside your cone so when you're done with the ice cream, you still have chocolate inside! Om nom nom!
And since we're at it, right in front of the CioccolatItaliani place there is Luini, well known for its panzerotti [the classic version, with tomato and mozzarella, is the best choice]. However be prepared; you will most probably find the longest queue ever. However, the wait is worth it, so if you pass by Milano make sure to pay these places a visit.

2012 Resolutions and Many wishes!
Published on: 2011-12-25T22:02:14Z
I strongly believe resolutions do not need a particular date, or time of the year; it's just easier to make a list when the year is over. I make resolutions during all of the year. Despite it, this is a nice time to think about the year that has passed by and see the results. Thinking about how to start with a fresh, new year helps bigtime and puts you in the right state of mind to start new things.
People I met: Oh Dear. This year has been crazy. I met some important people in my life, had new experiences and am so grateful about new friends & people I got to know. Some of them really changed my life - or well, they just gave it a good kick. I learnt how to be more open and positive about what happens in my life and how to set targets and, well, chase my resolutions and dreams ;)
People I lost: well, of course not everything is positive. However nothing bad totally happens by chance. In this case, the most sad "departure" has been one of a long-time friend who misunderstood our relationship and got offended (really?) when I didn't feel like considering him more than a friend. Amen to that. This is life - I thought he was a good friend, and he surely lost a chance. One can't just 'pretend' certain things. This is sad, but so is life sometimes. And even though I am feeling perfectly fine with him and am not angry/whatever, I am disappointed and it's not difficult to understand why :(
Main news end here.I will then grab a piece of paper and begin to list things I did, things I should do, things I am doing. And see what's left, what can be added and stuff. Rebuilding my resolutions list will be funny.
Not sure I will post anything new before 2012 - there still are a few days left though. I want to wish you everyone lots of good things. This is what I wrote on my facebook page, I think I can copy-paste it because it's a genuine wish :)
Merry Christmas to the ones of you who celebrate it! As for the rest, Enjoy your holidays and may 2012 bring you loads of positive things. In order to get something, or to reach the next step, you need to believe in what you're doing and you need to believe in YOURSELF. So never stop fighting for your dreams and keep building your own fairy world, one piece at a time :). And when something seems impossible, don't give up. Just think it's harder, never impossible. Thank you for the love and support you gave me in 2011. It has been the best present ever :) ???

It was supposed being an informal dinner with colleagues. I mean, we were a certain number of people and some of us didn't know each other, even.
We went to a restaurant which was lost in the Middle of Nowhere. We had lots of food (well, I didn't, but someone else did and we all got very impressed by his ability to eat a whole elephant with mayonnaise on top) and lots of laughs for sure :D
The waiter was so funny and after the dinner, we went to a colleague's home (his house is fantastic! Pretty much looking like a doll house :O) and kept going on with the private party thing. Rocking.
On a different note, here are couple of pics from my latest shoot past weekend:

Is 'being pretty' important in Modeling?
Published on: 2011-11-27T21:50:25Z
It's a bit like being actors (even though I am not comparing me to an actor, mind that. It's just easier to compare when it comes to explain).
Actor do not have to be good looking. Some become even quite ugly with the help of makeup. I could name you several memorable movies in which the pretty actors became monsters, or just older than they are, full of wrinkles, fatty or plain ugly. Did you care about it? I don't think so. It's about what you do, who you are, how you do it. The Gollum impressed you, but you didn't even see the actor's real face.
There are many artistic expressions in the world. In my case, my 'art' is made by my photos (as in, the final result), not by my face. I don't go around pretending I'm pretty. It is the images I create or the character I am. I am, in a way, a performer, except that every character I play is part of me. And I love doing that. A shoot is not just standing there and make faces or strike some poses. It's a total workout, both mental and physical. If you do it well, of course. If you feel it.
I have always been limited in my chances by several things and other priorities in my life, however I am very happy I have been that lucky and could shoot so much and did so many things I loved to. When I'm old and grey, I'll be very glad I gave it a try :)
Time to sit down and think about what happened this year and some resolutions for 2012. One month left, or so. This weird year is coming to an end.
A fairytale, part Two.

This is a lovestory. It's lingering in fairytales, breathing fantasy. It's about being someone, somewhere, in a story that has most probably been invented.
In a world that probably never existed.

Headache and Backstage picture with Cunene!
Published on: 2011-11-08T20:23:14Z
He was a child, and -just like it happens to all of us- he got headache. The headache lasted quite long. One day, he was sitting on a fence, in a graveyard, eating something (I believe this may have happened during the war) and he suddenly realized he had headache no more. At that time, he was a soldier, in his 20s. I mean, his headache lasted YEARS. He was a child, and it didn't stop until he was something like 21. He never had any headache anymore. I think I'd turn insane if that happened to me :(
Did I learn something? Of course I did: I shouldn't complain that much! Also, I learnt something new about my granddad. Have you ever heard such a story before?
And now, backstage picture!!

That's it. I am sorting my website galleries and, as promised weeks ago, uploading new pics almost everyday. I am filling old galleries with goodies and creating new ones, so if you got some spare time go check them :)
Newest Addition: "You are the Prey", by The Ouroboros. Bigger version on Deviantart. You can find this picture, among many others from that shoot, on my website. This gallery is being updated almost daily with new pics :)

This week has been quite tiresome. Deadlines are close and I am also doing a hundred plans so my stress level is growing a bit. Nothing terrible - tea and cuddles will help.
The following picture is, believe it or not, over one year old. For many reasons this set never got published by the photographer nor by me. Time has come, so we both will upload new pics soon :)
On the Bus
On my way to work, I was sitting on the bus when a girl, who was sitting next to me, started to talk. She told me about her school (she's very young) and about the fact she's being bullied. It's so sad to see there still are people that have nothing better to do but be mean to schoolmates. You're so sad really. Taking advantage of the weak is so terribly wrong in our society, and doesn't make you cooler. It's just a personality fail.
I had a small talk with the girl - ten minutes or so, she left soon on her way to the school. I gave her some advice, knowing that only growing up would help in certain cases. Before leaving, she even said she was sorry for 'bothering' me. She did not, actually. And before leaving, she gave me a kiss on my cheek as 'thank you'. So sweet of her.

Daily life stories: phonecall at the office.
Small story today about some "daily life" stories. Things that happen to me, most probably not related to modelling, but either funny or whatever. Here is one :)
I was at the office, when my mobile started ringing. I checked the caller and it was the 'Wrong Number Lady' one. Small story behind this funny name; I get called since past summer by this old woman, who asks for "Mr B.". I told her several times there is no 'Mr B.' around here, and usually after I say hello, I get called again within five minutes by her husband (I suppose) who asks me the same thing about Mr B. (No, as I told the lady abut five minutes ago, this number is not the correct one).
So today, as said, I was at the office and saw the number again. Was very tempted not to answer (I did it so many times you can't count, and I also did not answer for the same reason quite a lot of times) however I picked the phone up. The lady, supposingly old, asked me about Mr B. again. I told her there was no Mr B. (once again) and spelled her my mobile, like 'it's one, two, two, three, four..'.
She called me again after a while, surprised it was me again. She told me she typed the whole number but it didn't work. I told her the number was probably wrong because of its lenght and the system probably didn't recognize the latest 3 exceeding cyphers .
Then I googled for the mobile number, deleted some numbers, and voilà. I found out the Mr B. she was looking for. She repeated some numbers on top so it perfectly matched mine.
I picked up the phone, I called her back. She was really surprised. I told her 'hello, I am the girl you called twice by mistake. I checked over the internet, I think this is the Mr B. you're looking for; his number is zero, zero, one, two, three..'.
I hung up the phone. It costed me nothing, really. And she finally managed to call Mr B. :)

Today's plans involve jumping on a train and reaching Udine to meet some people. I'm cold however it's a sunny day, so I hope temperature will be fair.
I updated some of my galleries [both new and old ones] with more pictures. I am indeed too selective and I admit, galleries end up being almost empty. My fault. Here's a preview of what's to come in The Ouroboros gallery "The Gammon" :)
Memento Mori - A little story
Published on: 2011-10-19T20:38:57Z
Cunene sent me couple of pics from our latest shoot and I so want to post them here and show them off.
There is a 'story' behind these pictures. We needed to get synced on what to do - to have an idea about what to take pictures of and what I wanted (as I had some idea roaming around my mind since a while). So I told this story to Cunene.
Once upon a time, there was a girl. She was just sitting in her room, reading a book. All of a sudden, we don't know what happened, she looked around her and everything changed. Looks like time stopped in the meanwhile, and everything froze for a hundred years. During that time, she was just there, still. Things happened and she didn't see nor hear anything. She did not die - but it's like she did. It's a hundred years lingering in the middle of the time, still, while things happened outside that room. After so many years, after so long time, after such a long sleep, she opened her eyes again and started moving. Wondering what happened.
Thank you Cunene.
Stuff, stuff.

Since my computer is still at the repair shop (don't ask, long story - I feel like I am not the owner of my own computer anymore -.-°) I am working on an old one. Which is full of damaged clusters and still runs Windows 98, go figure. Fixing it, formatting, reinstalling - and stuff. I did clean it yesterday morning, checked the RAM, swapped hard disks.

Sadly this is also "sickweekend", so I better stay in bed and drink warm tea. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better. Such a shame though, it's a very beautiful day over here :/
All hail the Queen of procrastination!

Several goggles and eyepatches that I am making and are still halfway. A sculpture I'd need more clay for. Some outfits that need stitching.
It also is a matter of spare and free time. Since I have none, or very little, it's easy to guess why I keep postponing things that aren't top priorities - and my ToDo list is so huge if you ask me!
Today's picture makes me smile. I admit I was looking for a more recent image to post, however I stumbled upon this one and.. memories, memories. I was living in Belgium back then. Willing to come back :)
Oh oh oh. I got a preview!

Anecdote: We had no idea on how to style my hair [we really need someone to help us with hair! If you live around the area contact us, we're eager to do new things! :)] and in the end I came up with the headdress. I created it right at the moment, if I only had thought about doing something similar before, it would have been way better! Will work on similar pieces for next shoots. Doesn't look bad though, we were happy enough with it. Let's wait for the other pictures now.
More to come :)
Webcam Picture of the day!
Published on: 2011-09-04T09:41:15Z
On Friday I have been told I am about to move office desk. New people are being hired and they need that room, desks are limited and I can do my work by myself anyway, no need anyone to support me.. while the new ones will need loads of support from the rest of the office. So I am moving to another location.
I am so sad. Will miss the guys. Even though I am moving to a 'better looking' office, I definitely miss the guys already. Esp. the one who's sitting in front of me. He tells me stories about his son and daughter, and makes me laugh. I appreciate his sense of humor a whole lot and I will be missing everything from that office.
And now, getting ready for pizza! It's my granny's birthday and we're celebrating going out for a pizza, of course. I will spend the rest of the day working on some website gallery and planning outfits for next week's shoot. Can't wait I'm done with duties! It's like, the fourth time I am redoing that gallery [changed styles, engine, and last but not least lost all of the data and had to restart from scratch! Argh!!!!].
The Red Fan and.. my birthday :)
Published on: 2011-08-30T20:12:40Z
Yes, some days ago it was my birthday. I got many messages and pretty wishes, thank you!!!
I don't usually celebrate birthdays, however this one has been a good chance to sit down and think about many things. Just like most people do during NY's eve, this is what I did. Resolutions? None, and many. There are targets everyone has during life and everyone tries to improve their own life as much as possible and get the best of it :)
I still have so many things to do. New adventures ahead. Root your fingers for me - hopefully big news soon :)
New Picture. I should update my website, I know. Soon, promise!!

Bologna - Festa dello Zuccherino
Published on: 2011-08-23T22:00:35Z
So well, I left to Bologna with both Ranaan and Falco Nero. I dressed up all pretty with my first viking outfit [the one I used the very first day in Poland], that thankfully was perfect for this event as well, and did play with swords all day long. I had to hunt the interwebz in hope to find some picture; I have been lucky. I wasn't the main attraction of the fair so I am glad someone took at least one photo of me, so I can show you the pretty dress I had. We attended the annual 'Sagra dello Zuccherino'. I found out what a zuccherino is [literally means 'something made of sugar']; it's an aniseed biscuit with some sugar glaze on top. Omnom.
I was located in the Medieval Camp and attended [as spectator of course] the combat shows and stuff. Also paid a visit to the Falconieri del Grifone [literally "Falconers of the Gryphon"], a few meters away, and looked at all of their awesome birds and owls.

It was so damn hot, boo. Believe me I was melting.

Together with Ulisse of Ranaan, making stupid faces. I spent the previous 10 mins hitting him with the sword. Kids found that funny and I found that funny as well. As long as he's unarmed, of course.
These ones need a big thankyou to Eleonora (I stole them from facebook, ahr ahr ahr!)
We all [a bunch of 30 people, probably even more] went to some 'restaurant' for lunch. I asked for anything without meat or fish [I couldn't warn them in advance since I found out I would have been there the day before only]. They panicked. Really.
The guys from the restaurant didn't know what to do to feed me. I heard sentences like 'things without meat are difficult to find here (o_O)] and in the end I got some cheese and bread (the bread was fried bread, nommy and awesome, called 'Crescentine', oh om nom nom nom]. One of the women of the restaurant complained because 'we should have warned them before about people having problems' [!!!] and Ulisse kindly asked some tomatoes for me [apparently they were in their meaty pasta, but there were none for me o_O].
The woman took me some tomatoes in a dish, gave it to me and [quite aggressively, sadly] said 'here are your tomatoes, don't ask any more, we don't have any left of them'. OMG. I've never been treated so bad for being vegetarian. And I didn't complain, even. I know most people are used to meat and fish and vegs are still aliens around the area, so I just get anything else (bread, cheese, vegetables if any, pasta without sauce.. I never ask for special dishes or so].
We laughed a lot about this, because the situation was so comical and funny we couldn't help it. The 'people with problems' part sounded so funny. The woman looked like a mad and I was well protected by huge guys with swords and armors anyway, but hey. I think this kind of behaviour is terrible. Not only because she has not been polite, but mostly because she didn't respect my choices and treated me quite bad, if you think of it. I didn't kill anyone, I asked for anything but meat [and it was a restaurant, so they should at least have something without meat, even dry pasta, eeww]. Is that so wrong?
Anyway. I had an awesome lunch made of cheese, some tomatoes and crescentine, that were very very yummy. I need to find the right recipe and attempt making them at home as well.
Holidays part II: something about Berlin
Published on: 2011-08-23T06:59:00Z
My first impression of Berlin: weird. It's big as, in, big spaces. Large roads, very. Lots of cafeterias and food shops [om nom nom] that were surprisingly not expensive, not even right in front at the CheckPoint Charlie, which is one of the main attractions of the city.
There are a few points of interest [so far I can remember AlexanderPlatz and the well known CheckPoint Charlie, other than the Zoo I didn't manage to visit because I would have took one whole day that we did not have]. Nothing really exciting 'to see' building-wise'; I am more into older cities with different architecture, like you can find in Belgium for instance. However, I would come back. I feel like I didn't get Berlin. Too little time spent there and I wasn't ready-to-go, full of books or info about the city. I just wandered around.

Whee! Candids galore!! And my hair looks kinda blackish here!!
Next time, I absolutely need to visit the city a bit better. Stay longer, enjoy the typical food, drink more chocolate, have one each donut at the Dunkin Donuts place. I bought a 12 box, It was about 6000 calories. 3 brownies, several chocolate drinks to warm me up (it wasn't that hot those days, and chocolate taste wasn't so strong, tasted like breakfast chocolate powder :)) and in the end I got up and am on a diet now :D it was worth it though. I've always wanted to hold a donuts box. And I will do that again, so I better suck lemons and wait for that precious moment to happen once more :D

I also stepped into Alexa Mall (close to AlexanderPlatz) and had some DELICIOUS Asian food. I bought those funny tshirts (in Colloseum Shop, if you are curious about it or want to get similar Tshirts) and visited another shop on the same floor, Mystica. It had a pair of fetish boots I fell in love with (size wasn't fitting me though) and another awesome skirt that looked terrible on me so I didn't buy it. Even if I really wanted it, boo :(.
More about Berlin.. it seemed so quiet, esp. compared to other cities I've visited. May it be because it is August? Some places were crowded with tourists, while in between there was the desert and almost nobody walking around o_O"
Since our way towards Poland, while driving through Germany, I noticed the 'Magnum McFlurry' thing at the McDonalds while passing by. I am not a McDonalds fan, however their Milkshakes and McFlurries make me happeee. So I managed, on the last day, to try it. The classic Magnum McFlurry isn't exciting at all (some chocolate drops, some chocolate topping, plain McFlurry Ice Cream and that's it), however I found out there are veggie burgers in German McDonalds! Also, tasted one and they're omnommy. Of course nobody else knows about them, so when the Italian McDonald's guy got asked about veggie burgers, he looked at us like we were some kind of zombies asking for braaains and said 'no., what? Veggie? no!'.
Ahem.
See, it DOES exist!! Hell yes. There are vegetarians out there that would like to taste it.
I have an anecdote about vegetarians, however I'll tell it in the next entry. As for now, part II has come to an end :)
Traveling around - I've been idling I know.
Published on: 2011-08-22T13:33:24Z
After so much time, this year I had proper holidays. The company I work at is on holidays for 3 weeks. I spent my first and half week in the most adventurous way ever (well, for me). I am kind of a control freak and quite used to routine, so sometimes it takes lots of willpower and courage to throw myself into very unusual situations. At the very last minute I decided to leave to Poland (still not sure how it happened o.O") and attend the Vikings Festival in Wolin.
I didn't fight of course (I know pretty nothing about how to slam axes on other people's heads, ahem), however I took pictures and experienced many, many new things. I learnt a lot, tasted new food, dressed up as viking.

[This is me making faces]
Speaking of dressing up, I really have to thank Ulisse who spent two days creating couple of outfits for me so I could dress up :). On our way back, we had a small break in Germany and quickly visited the capital city. Very, quickly. I anyway managed to do some shopping and bought couple of funny tshirts with kawaii animals on :)

Also, in both Poland and Germany I managed to break into food shops and brought back home lots of weird items. I have a vague idea on what they may be, since I can't absolutely read Polish. I learnt a few words only and I bet I will forget them again in less than one month.
There would be so many things to write about Poland. It was my first time in a tent (I really never been to a single camping in all of my life), so many vikings (my friend Rubine would have been overwhelmed :P), so many things to see. We had some grilled cheese (I am 100% sure it's grilled 'scamorza affumicata', however I don't know who to ask about it :/), gauffres, pierogi (well these weren't exceptional honesty, I think it depends on the restaurant mostly though). We bought chocolate milk (and found out it wasn't chocolate milk, it was whipped cream! Oh damn.) and there were so many different types of icecreams I can't find in Italy! Om nom nom. Also, artisanal ice cream had these bright and unnatural colours (vivid blue, hot pink, bright violet.. wtf?). Awesome. Technicolor icecream FTW.
I learnt a bit how to help dressing up people for a fight (first time has been a disaster, third time got better :P). Honorary esquire for a day (or many), oh hai gambisons and swords. The guys were all pretty in their armors and battles were somewhat confusing (at a certain point, you could only see bodies and axes and swords and shields and.. no more. Just that) but it has been funny.

I can only recognize Tenebra and Ulisse in this picture. Due to the armors (and the backsides, uhu) I can't get who the others are. Sorry!
To be continued. I've been idling for quite a long time, need to catch up with entries! :D
No rest for the wicked

Speaking of the new work, I am amazed how awesome the people are. All of them are very kind, treating me very well. They invited me over for lunch together more than once and kept asking whether all is well and if I need a ride to the bus stop (I have to walk quite a lot to get there), which is very unusual if you ask me. One of the girls did even wait for me at the bus stop yesterday because it was raining, without me asking for it. She's super. Plus they all are huge fans of my green hair :O
